I must admit, I'm not exactly sure what the social norms are in regards to intimacy on Earth. Is not having experience unusual?

I believe society tends to expect certain things of us at a certain age. Such as having experience in more intimate matters or being married or even having children.

I have never particularly cared for such societal norms. I prefer the company of creatures to people, so these kind of expectations go well against my comfort.

I understand. I believe most cultures have something similar.

We are hardly bound by the societal norms of our people here, though.

We aren't. Still, I would prefer more intimate and private matters of my life were not paraded out in the open like it is.

It also doesn't seem to stop my friends from teasing the ever loving daylights out of me.

Although, I can't be mad if they're getting a bit of a laugh out of it right now. I think we all are overdue for some enjoyment.

A few people seem more interested about my birthday than anything else, actually.

I don't think anyone is being malicious, besides. I've had my fair share of being bullied and this is far from it. I can tell you now, my brother has said more embarrassing things about himself while inebriated and I can take solace in that my brother is more of a git than this app.

Oh, git is British slang. I suppose you can consider it kind of the same as referring to someone as an idiot. I mean it endearingly, but it doesn't change the fact that he is one.

I hadn't really thought about it. There hadn't been much time to think about it at all. I suppose I'd like to do something for it after everything. I think I owe a few people drinks and vice versa.

There's a lot of words that we use that I don't think Americans use. I imagine you're more accustomed to American slang?

There's a few words that we use that don't mean the same, I think.

Yes. I don't know American customs, but there's a lot of pubs back in England. It's quite normal for people to get together for a drink normally, but that doesn't mean they don't like to get together at one for festivities. An excuse to get lost in one's cup, I suppose.

Then again, we used to sneak alcohol into school and have celebrations too, so I think we just enjoy our drink.

You do have some very tasty beverages, I will admit. Nunvil is quite a bit stronger, but the flavor is nothing in comparison to some of the drinks i've had here, so I can certainly see why.

Yes, we are. I'm not from America personally so my vocabulary differs a bit on top of us having a lot of different terminology as a wizard.

Yes. We drink a lot of what muggles do, but we have some liquor that we've made that isn't normally accessible to non wizards. Things like butterbeer and fire whisky. Butterbeer is even available to students.

Muggles? What do muggles drink? I believe I've had beer before, but never with butter.

Sorry. It's so ingrained in my vocabulary, that I can't help but use it. Muggles is a term we use for non magic users.

As for drinking, I think they drink anything we do, although we have some alcohols that we've developed ourselves that aren't accessible to them.

Butterbeer doesn't really taste like beer at all nor is it really made with butter. If you're familiar with butterscotch, it tastes more like that. It's sweet and we generally was able to drink it even if we were considered underaged. Students were very fond of the stuff when I was going to school. I imagine that the sentiment hasn't changed even now.

I'm not sure if I've had butterscotch before, but I do like sweet drinks. If it exists here, I would be interested in trying it.

It is certainly uncouth, but after tasting it I understood why they chose that name.
