I'm sorry to bother you, to...ask you. I don't know who else to ask.

Do you know Albus Dumbledore? I met him recently, but I don't know anything about him.

[ He supposes it's probably obvious that he's heard this man's name, and obvious who he heard it from. Newt knows that Credence went with Grindelwald, and he figures Newt knows that Grindelwald considers Dumbledore an enemy. All the other things that go along with this, he doesn't want to talk about. But he wants to know more about Dumbledore from someone who isn't Grindelwald, someone he thinks he can trust. ]

Sorry, I had been wrapped up with things. [Deerington has always done a good job with keeping them busy at times. It feels like the events have been neverending recently.]

I'm sorry. I- [He laughs a bit. He sounds a bit distressed.] I can't really answer that at this moment, if I'm perfectly honest. I've been made aware that I have relation to him as at least a student. Perhaps a friend? I don't remember. [It's such a bad time to forget things.] I can possibly speak more on the matter in a month or so, but I don't know.

I don't know when I'll regain my memories. [There's speculation, but they had only Vira-Lorr's deaths to work with. There wasn't much information to work with at the time pertaining consecutive deaths.] I'm sorry, Credence. I wish I could say more. I can only assume that he was fond of me to some extent given how we have spoken to each other since his being here.
