[Newt laughs a little sheepishly.] You'll remember my birthday well before I remember what month it is. [He doesn't doubt that the other will have a better memory with Holidays than he does.]

It's flattering, really. [Impressive, but it's hard not to be somewhat flattered that Hiccup will practically inhale everything you cook.] I'll have to make something nice in the coming days as a belated gift. [Cook some of Hiccup's favorite dishes.]

We'll get nowhere if we keep going back and forth with the idea of doing what the other wants and not offering an actual activity. [And Newt offers a shy kiss back.] Other than gifts and spending time with others or having a party, nothing in particular stands out. I guess people try to make birthdays a personal experience, but there are nothing specific that sticks out otherwise.
